Schleswig-Holstein boasts a variety of academic and vocational training providers, with the state’s universities and colleges of higher education providing a comprehensive selection of technical or business degree courses focusing on energy and the environment, as well as wind energy. The Wind Energy Centre of Excellence Schleswig-Holstein is the wind energy research network of third-level education providers in Germany’s northernmost state. It is a platform for the resource “wind” and supports the sustainable transfer of skills between the science and business sectors.

Organisation

Accompanied by two project offices and an advisory board, academics from the most varied of fields have joined forces on wind energy projects to form the network founded by the Christian Albrechts Kiel University, as well as the Universities Applied Sciences in Kiel, Flensburg, Lübeck and the west coast.
